My first round card…as sad as that sounds it is true! Thanks to Gina K and Stamp TV they are challenging this predictable stamper to think outside the box! I am very fond of this new card style and think there will be many more round cards to come.
Love this new stamp sentiment I picked up at Michael’s this weekend! Perfect for Graduation Cards!
This sketch challenge you will find here! Go check it out!
Hope you have a blessed Easter!
Thanks for stopping by,
Just a very quick post for you today. I made this card for a challenge and never got it posted in time. Oh Well! That’s the way life goes sometimes…I am sure I wouldn’t have won anything anyway! LOL I have begun my stash of Graduation cards…lord knows I will be needing a lot of them this year. Tyler is graduating and I am sure he will be invited to a fare share of parties.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter !
I have been a fan of the Color Thrown Down for quite some time and was determined today to make sure I played along. The colors intrigued me this week so I jumped on board! I combined a few stamp sets…Close to My Heart ( Rustic Flowers) that I have had forever and Stamp Tv’s ( Say it with Flowers). I decided that I was going to try to do a card that was CAS ( Clean and Simple). I think I spent more time than I should have because it was anything but simple! LOL I spend way to much time fretting over my cards and need to just relax and let go! Do you do that too? Gosh I hope so!
Hope you had a fantastic week! Enjoy !
It has been a couple weeks since we got this exciting news, but I thought is was time to take a moment and share it on my blog. After many, many months of practicing and then auditioning at FSU’s College of Music we received word that Tyler was accepted! For those of you not familiar with this process. Tyler worked on these very difficult pieces of music for almost a year and went before a panel of judges at FSU on February 12th. We don’t know exactly how many saxaphonist tried out, but it is generally in the realm of around 60. FSU is said to be the number one Music School for Music Education so you know the talent he was up against was very good. It just goes to show that hard work and preserverence pays off.
His mom and dad are so proud of him!
Now it’s time to see about some football tickets!!
Thank you cards are always a necessity, wouldn’t you agree? Speaking of Thanks, it’s days like today when the weather is perfect, and you can hear the birds chirping, and butterflies are everywhere…I am thankful I live in the beautiful state of Florida! How lucky I am!! This week’s weather was terrible and rainy and quite unusual, but look what was behind it! Hope your weather is as good as mine wherever you might be and thanks so much for stopping by to spend a moment with me!
All these cards were made using the Basic Grey paper pad…green at heart.
