Just Us Girls are Shaving!

Hi Friends,

 Did my title get your attention?  LOL

 Well, over at Just Us Girls this week my good friend Sharyn is hosting

 and she challenged us girls to break out the shaving cream!

 If you have never made your own background paper before using this

 technique your missing out!  Here is a great Link from Gina K to get you started.

I had so much fun I made 6 pieces of paper in all different colors for future use!

I also want to thank Barbara Campbell for being such a wonderful Guest Designer

with us this past month!  You out did yourself GIRL!

I paired this technique up with this simple and versatile Sketch over at Seize the Sketch!

Along with the Patriotic color challenge of Red, White and Blue from the Mod Squad.

A few card details:

The stamps I used for this set were a mixture of Stampin UP-Simply Stars

and the smaller stars are from a Gina K stamp set called Out West 2.

I saw this quote this week in the newspaper and loved it so much

that I decided to print it from my computer!

I made the dashes with a pen!

Double the Fun

Over at Just Us Girls this week we have a great color combo for you to try!

I went a little outside the box and incorporated a darker purple on my card as well,

I hope Lisa our Hostess this week doesn’t mind to much!  LOL

My talented friend Judy is hosting this week and she has asked us to do a

The Kissing Technique

This card is for 4 different challenges….YES 4!  I think that this ties my record! LOL

The first and foremost is Just Us Girls where Sue has challenged us to use the

Kissing Technique!  Yes Kissing, if you have never done this….Well it’s a MUST!

Sorry for the hiatus for a few days, just needed a breather, plus my son is home from

college so my nights are spent with him and hubby!  Love when we are all together!

Someday I will get use to this empty nest thing! NOT!

Bleach and a JUGS Sketch

Hello Friends,

I had a great time creating this card for two different challenges.

I started with this awesome sketch from Cheryl over at Just Us Girls…

and combined it with a Technique challenge over at Stamp TV hosted

by my friend Judy.  She has beautiful samples over there for you to see!

She asked us to use bleach on our creation.  

Here is a video from Gina K. for you to watch if you have never tried this before.

I really recommend it…it’s so much fun with endless possibilities. 

I pretty much did exactly what Gina did on this video!

Just be really really careful not to get it on your work space or clothes.  Speaking from experience. LOL
