Hello Friends, It’s Memorial Day weekend…Yahoooo! It’s also Saturday and time for a new challenge over at Just Us Girls. Lisa is our hostess and she picked out a great bright photo for us. As you can probably tell by my card I was inspired by the yellow walls along with the splashes of bright pinks all over the desk. The square piece of paper behind my sentiment was made using bits of various different colors of paper. The technique is something I learned from my Stampin Up demonstrator a while back and it’s called the Bargello technique. Yes, it actually has a name. LOL There are many different styles of this technique all over the internet. I know quilters use it a lot. Anyhoo, I had to use my handy- dandy easel (sent to me from my lovely friend Judy) to photograph my card as it doesn’t stand up on it’s own. Most of the supplies are SU except for the flower and button! Hope you have a terrific weekend! I know I will, because I will be meeting one of my BFFIBL and fellow JUGS and STB Design Team Member’s Sharyn on Sunday morning! I am beyond excited!!! Sharyn and I have been talking nearly everyday for the past three years and I am so glad this is finally happening! Pics to follow for sure!
I also need to say thanks to Aileen our Guest Designer over at Just Us Girls. You were a delight to have onboard this month Aileen! Take care, Nanc’
