Hello School Year….

Well it’s time to say Hi to a brand new school year and goodbye to summer!  I am actually ready this year more than most years to go back to my routine…I think because the summer was not what my family and I would have hoped for and it’s time to get back to what hopes to be more of somewhat normalcy.  I guess I am hoping with more to focus on I will no think so much about my sisters and what they have both had to endure over this past month and this past year.  It’s not that I don’t want to think and pray for them it’s just hard for me to imagine how they do it each and everyday!  God Bless them both and their families!

Now on to my card… I love the way this card came together!  Isn’t that DP just gorgeous?

Have a great Sunday and  may  God bless you and your family!

Supplies Used:

Cardstock: S-Up and CM

Hope you have a great Sunday and it’s back to work for me this week…SummerBreak  is OVER! 😦 boo hoo!!

Keeping really busy…

Just thought I would make a quick post to say that things will probably be a little quiet here in the blog world for the next few months.  This is my son’s senior year in High School and he is Sr. Drum Major of the Manatee High School Band and DH and I are CO-President of the Band Boosters.  With that title comes a lot of work!!!!!!!!  I will still be posting as often as I can, so my 2 followers Don’t Leave Me!!! (LOL)  So, do me a favor and in my down time, keep inspiring me because in the evenings when I come in late after either uniform fitting, a band meeting , or a Victory Football Game…I will still be following you!

Take care,

Happy Birthday….

The card I am posting today is a CAS card, and for those of you unsure of the acronym that means Clean And Simple.  We all have to do quick cards once and awhile especially when we’re in a hurry, or when our Mojo is running on empty! LOL

Doesn’t black and Yellow look amazing together, this was for a challenge over at Stamp TV a few weeks ago!

Hope you have a fantastic Monday!

Mojo Monday…

I don’t often get to participate in the Mojo Monday challenge, but when I saw the sketch for this week I had to give it a try!  I love all the different elements and I must say for me it came together rather quickly!  The inside of the card reads…

“The old believe everything;

the middle age suspect everything:

the young know everything.”

Happy Birthday!

Thanks for all you do!!

This also qualifies for this week’s color challenge over at Stamp TV. Yellow, Red and Orange!  Would never have put that together on my own!

We are having all the band students sign the card  tomorrow and are giving it to are Assistant Band Director.  I think she will get a kick out of it!

The ribbon on the package idea is not mine….it’s from Lynn Mercurio over at Stamperosity.com…isn’t she brilliant!!

If my computer wasn’t being stupid I would link all the places I mentioned in this post, but I can’t!!! 😦

Thanks for stopping by, it always makes my day!

Best Wishes..

I can’t take credit for this fabulous idea on the card below, but I did make it my own! Melanie Muechinger over at Stanmp TV came up with idea quite awhile ago and I finally got around to making one myself.  It reminds me of…He loves me, He loves me not… I thought it would make a great congratulations card for an engagement.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you have a fantastic week !
