Hello, Hello

Hello Hello, Do you have your sunglasses on? You might need them if you look at this card for too long. 😆 I am certainly enjoying this new to-me set from Pixi Dust Designs. I thought I would make something a little more playful and colorful using the fun Typewriter Die. After I laid out my card, I decided it needed just one more element and that is when I got the idea of the crumbled-up paper. We all remember those typing days when you would make too many mistakes and have to start over! I am aging myself now, so let’s move on!😉

Before I glued down my crumbled-up paper, I ran the idea by the hubster cause I didn’t know if I liked it or not and he suggested I add the black letters to the paper with an ink pen. He is so smart! All I needed to do to finalize this card was to add the random hearts and a few glossy gems.

Hello

Hello friends, I have a very quick and simple card today that would be super easy to mass-produce. I am using the gorgeous Vintage Florals and Heartfelt Thanks and Scallops once again. The hello sentiment and shadow die comes in the Vintage Florals set. As I have mentioned before, this set is so pretty by itself that it hardly needs anything else. I purposely offset my purple scalloped DSP to the left a smidge, for something a bit different. To finish it off, some white paper gems.

I really love this color combo, don’t you?

If you place an order after clicking on one of the links below, I will receive a small commission, and also get to continue as an affiliate with Spellbinders at no cost to you. I certainly appreciate any of your support! Thank you so much!

Hello

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am back with another card using the Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders-Sitting Pretty. I did a more CAS card this time with some die cutting and ink blending. I am also using the Fresh Picked Sentiment Dies from this month’s release which I also ink blended. I really love that set of words and the bold font. The background is a piece of DSP that looks like handmade paper with specs of color in it. It also has a brick wall texture to it. I used my favorite Dew Drops from Honey Bee Stamps.

I used a bit of clear Nuvo drops and glitter in the centers of all the flowers.

Thanks for coming by to check in on me! I am still going strong with lots of cards to share even in the middle of tearing apart my craftroom. Lucky for me, I have a wonderful husband who is helping me make this happen. ♥️ I set up my craftroom in our back family room and it is working out perfectly and I can still play in my downtime.

Here is a pic of what it looks like today! Hubby is doing the demoing. For those of you who don’t know, when we bought this house 31 years ago it had two kitchens. When I ran my home daycare the sink came in handy. The resident artist used to do his art in there too, until cardmaking happened and I kicked him to the outside shed. 😝

Take care, Nanc’

Just Saying Hello

Hello, I am popping in to Just Say Hello with another card using new and beautiful products from Spellbinders. Today, I am again using a mix of products from the Autumn Serenade Collection. This collection has 18 products, and I have once again incorporated 3 into today’s card; Dimensional Autumn Butterfly Stickers, Foiled Vellum, and Fancy Sentiment Better Press Plates. This card is even prettier than it shows in this photo, and it was the first card I made right after I received the new items. I have paired my new items with items released recently from Spellbinders that I adore. Hubby thinks this is my best card using these products so far! I love that he supports me so much and even gives me hi opinion if I ask him about photo quality and or layouts.

Card Details: I cut a heart out of the vellum and then backed it with a piece of blue card stock. The pretty Victorian edge was made with my Fiskars Cutter. Once the rest of the pieces were cut out of card stock and or gold mirrored paper, all I had to do was assemble them. The sentiment is a new Better Press Plate that I foiled in gold.

Everything is listed below!

If you place an order after clicking on one of the links below I will receive a small commission, and also get to continue as an affiliate with Spellbinders at no cost to you. I certainly would appreciate any of your support!

Repetitive Die-Cutting

Hello, It’s the 4th Thursday of the month and time for the next challenge at Seize the Birthday. I am the hostess for this challenge and I have chosen Repetitive Die-Cutting for my Topping. There are many different ways to achieve this and if you pop on over to Seize the Birthday you will see how my fabulous Design Team along with our guests were inspired. Speaking of guests, we still have Stephanie with us but today we also have Johanna joining us as well. She was the winner of our last challenge using our Topping. I am happy to have them both in our line-up!

Card Details: My card was totally inspired by the lovely and talented Yana Smakula and you can find her fabulous card Here. You will just need to scroll down a bit. Her card is so much prettier because she added glitter to the wings of her butterfly.

The Butterfly is from Pink and Main and I sponged it with Oxide Inks and used glitter on his body. The Hellos on the background are from MFT, and the dot EF is from SU. The greeting is from Spellbinders and was foiled in gold. Some twine and various gems and I was done.

I hope you will join us over at Seize the Birthday. Remember, the Topping is always optional…any Birthday card will do! See you there! Nanc’

Merlot and Navy

Hello, How did we get to July 1st already? Well, since we are here, it’s time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues. Marcia is our wonderful hostess and she has chosen a lovely pairing of Merlot and Navy. If you stop by the DT, you will be amazed at the variety of cards we have for this challenge. All of them are so unique and beautiful.

I decided to make two mini slimline for this challenge as I just loved the colors so much. I apologize for the poor photo quality, I must have taken 30 pictures of these cards and I am still extremely unsatisfied with the results. I have no idea why I struggled so much.

Card Details: I am still playing with the beautiful 3D Mandala Blooms Embossing Folder from Spellbinders. This time I took a white ink pad and a sponge dauber and as gently as I could tried to get the fun pattern to come to life. It isn’t perfect, but I love the look of it. I am also using another Spellbinder’s product that I have listed below. I used my Fisker’s cutter to make the Victorian edge on the Thank you card.

Here is each card individually.

If you place an order after clicking on one of the links below I will receive a very small commission, and also get to continue as an affiliate with Spellbinders at no cost to you. I certainly appreciate your support!

Hello

Hello, It’s Word Week over at Just Us Girls, and Ina has chosen an easy one for us this week. I had a very busy week and little time so I pulled out some of my favorite MFT Garden dies and some Stitched rectangles and made a rather quick card. The hello die is from Spellbinders.

I hope you will head on over to Just Us Girls and check out the team’s cards and join us! Take care, Nanc’

Hello

Hope you are doing well and having a good day! I am back with a card for the latest sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. I have been itching to break the seal on this Strawberry Patch set that I got about two months ago from Spellbinders when it was on sale. When I purchased it it was 1/2 off and now it’s only $10.00. It was originally $40.00! The Hello greeting that I also used on my card is part of the Outlined Sentiment Die set that is also on sale for 1/2 off right now! I have card details and all Spellbinder’s products linked below.

Card Details: Whimsy stamps Lattice Die that I cut down to make the vertical strip on the sketch. I used a mix of Inks and Copics to color my strawberries. Didn’t quite get the variation of color I was hoping for but will try again. The lattice die wasn’t quite large enough so this card has been cut down and is slightly smaller than a standard A2 size.

Have a wonderful rest of your day and a great week ahead! Nanc’

Rawr…Is Hello in Monster

Rawr…It’s the middle of the month and time for our next Hues of Colors at Color Hues. I am a bit jet lagged as I just returned from a ten-day trip in California and Hawaii, so I am going to get right to it!

Julie B is our wonderful hostess and I absolutely enjoyed working with her color combo. Thanks, Julie! I decided it had been a while since I made a scene with my MFT dies, so that is what I did. When I first started putting this card together, I had no intention of my house being occupied by a cute little monster, but I love how it turned out.

I am going to add my card over at Happy Little Stampers-Anything Goes with Dies Challenge.

Card Details: MFT- 4 sets; Picture Window, Fundamental Furnishings, Take a Seat, and Potted Plants. The monster is from Your Next Stamp and so is the sentiment. I used a bit of Copics and Prismas to color the monster and made a soft cloud sky behind my window using MFT’s cloud stencil.

Now, I certainly hope you will head on over to Color Hues and check out what my fabulous teammates and guest Joanne James have done with these hues of colors, and then play along. I was certainly inspired by all of their creations.

Take care, Nanc’
