It’s the middle of the month and time for the next Hues of Colors at Color Hues. Hannelie has chosen a favorite color pairing of mine, Yellow and Kraft. The Design Team has done a wonderful job with these colors. I hope you will pop on over and have a look and then join us in the gallery!
Few Card Details: The Sunrise Stem flower is from Simon Says Stamp, the pierced leaves are from SU, and the Notched Corners are from Spellbinders. The sentiment is Gina K. A few clear Nuvo drops and some Oxide ink.
Thanks for coming by and hope to see you in our gallery at Color Hues! Take care, Nanc’

This is a fab flower die and I love how you have use it here on this card. The kraft leaves are really a nice touch. All these details on that dark scripty panel are divine. Love the splint background.

I finally got that Sunrise Stem but haven’t used it yet. I love how you arranged them around the frame, Nancy, and the script inside it looks wonderful.

Love that flower die, they look fab with the kraft foliage.
We’ve had quite a few balloons over this year, there is an airfield a few miles away that they take off from. Watched one land a couple of weeks ago in a neighbours field. I was amazed how precise they were, avoiding powerlines and the railway track! One year there was a balloon festival at a local country house but the wind was in the wrong direction and we only saw the tail enders leaving and heading away. 🙂

Love this and may be asking to cut some of those flowers. Love the yellow centers. What really makes this card pop is that black script paper. It’s perfect.

So much to admire in this card, Nancy! I love the sunny yellow of the stencil and the folksy craft leaves and stencil papers. You are a master at combining elements into masterpieces!

Let’s swap weather! We are in a severe drought. We are 22 inches below normal. 😑

Nancy I just love your card. I am a sucker for script and it looks lovely on your card. The stenciled detail on the background is perfect. What a lovely card to send to someone and make their day!

I think Lisa E. said it best – this is a sunny card that would certainly be enjoyed by who ever receives it! Love all the details with the script, stenciling and the kraft frame. Another beauty, Nancy!

I love the contrast between the yellow pattern and the script. Such a pretty design!

Your bright, sunny, beautifully designed card has planted a smile all over my face; perfect for adding some colour to this snowy day. Yes, I’m way behind in commenting again, as seems to be my tendency. Our town had some waterline issues this week resulting in water restrictions and so on; wound up being more distressed about the situation than I needed to be but…hopefully the fix will be completed soon. Will be in touch soon!
