Sweet Friend

Hello, I hope this post finds you well. Things have been less than ideal over the past couple of weeks in my neck of the woods and stress has hit an ultimate high. So if I seem a little out of sorts that is why! I do not have the time or energy to tell you what my last ten days have looked like, nor would I do that to you, all I am going to ask is if you would please keep my father and my hubby in your prayers. On a happier note, my son and daughter in law are coming to Florida for a few days, rather unexpectedly, so that might be just what this girl needs as a pick me up and to get me back on track.

Onto today’s card! Over at The Paper Players we have a Tic Tac Toe Board created by LeAnne for you all to enjoy. I have selected the center row of circle, red and DSP, but my card would also work with the diagonal row of blue, red, and white. Which row speaks to you?

When creating my card I decided to combine it with the Festive Friday Challenge. The three items I selected were; stripes, rectangle, and bright colors.

Card Details: I have a mix of The Greetery, Gina K Designs, and SU, and a MS punch for my card. If you have any questions just ask.

Hugs

Hello, It’s the fifth Saturday of the month and over at Just Us Girls it is Wild Card Week and Angie chose Spots and or Dots for us. I came across this perfect piece of paper in my stash and it reminded me of a card I made at least 4 years ago and thought I would make another one similar. Of course, I was looking for the post and I couldn’t find it so I can’t link it up for you.

Card Details: MFT Stitched Blooms and the Hugs die is from SSS.

I would also like to thank Jacinda for being with us this month, as we have really enjoyed all of your creations.

Hope to see in the gallery at JUGS!

Wheels

Hello, I hope you are doing well. Today over at Seize the Birthday, Shirley has this awesome idea for a topping…the topping she chose is Wheels. When I saw this topping coming up the pipeline I was glad I had recently purchased this bicycle die set. Such a quick and simple card to throw together.

Card Details: Bicycle die and flowers/leaves are from Momenta-Spring Bicycle. The greeting is computer printed.

Please join us at Seize the Birthday as the design team and our guest Melanie were very creative with our topping!

Please take care, Nanc’

My Love…

Hello, Today over at The Paper Players it’s time for Sketch Week and Jaydee has got a great one for us. I started off with the basis of the layout of the sketch and my card kinda got away from me a bit and I thought the background needed something fun, and that is where the anchor came in. Hopefully the team will think it’s okay, as you can clearly still see the sketch in my design. I think they call those creative liberties in the crafting/art world. LOL

Card Details: I made the negative and positive anchor with my Silhouette Cameo. The stamps are from the SU set called Whale Done. I have no idea where I got the silver stars, but they are 3d…super fun!

Hi-Photo Week

Hello, It’s time for Photo Week at Just Us Girls and Cecile has a really pretty one for you to get inspired by. I had intentions of making a CAS card and as the card started to evolve I ended up with more layers than I intended. That is okay, that is the creative process…right?

Card Details: The DSP- SU, daisy die is from Elizabeth Craft Design, the hi-die cut is from Pink Fresh Studio-Kelly alphabet, the edge border is from Papertrey Ink, stitched oval-SU, and the white Leafy Flourish is from MFT.

Hope you will join us at Just Us Girls this week, Nanc’

Guesting at Tic Tac Toe

Hello, I am super excited to be guesting this week at The Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Thanks for having me ladies! This week they have another fun Tic Tac Board to inspire you with loads of possibilities. I am a huge fan of this challenge format as it really leaves the creativity so open and loose.

I have selected the top row of Wings, Sky and Square. To explain my choice: My seagull has wings, I have a sky and water background made with Oxide inks, and I have a square window in my design.

I made another card with a bird that also has wings and or flippers…depending on your perception. LOL

I am also linking up my card with the fun over at Addicted to Stamps and More for their Die-cut and or Stencil challenge. The stenciling is optional.

Card Details: I used Oxide inks to make my sky and water background and the rest of the products are all MFT. I used Copics and Prismas too.

Please come over to the The Tic Tac Toe Challenge, as the team has some really amazing cards this week to inspire you.

I hope to see you in the gallery!

Take care and happy creating, Nanc’

Happy Birthday at Color Hues

Second post of the day! Please scroll down if you are looking for The Paper Players!

Hello, Here we are to the middle of the month and time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues. Lindsey has chosen a fabulous color combo for us. My son made a great suggestion the other night when I was asking him about a computer problem I was having, he showed me how to add a little animation to our graphics at Color Hues. I was giddy as a little kid when I was done. It doesn’t take much to make me happy! And it’s fun to liven things up once in awhile! What do you think?

Card Details: All dies and or stamps are from Stampin Up and the DSP-who knows!

As I always say but is so very true…the Design Team and our guest Janet did an incredible job with these colors…please come by and check them out. Then, I also hope you join us!

Take care and happy creating, Nanc’

Polka Dots

Hello, Happy Sunday! Today over at The Paper Players, it’s CAS week and the theme is Polka Dots. The sweet Anne Marie is our hostess this week. This is my Second card this week using a fun background that I made a few weeks back that was just waiting to be used on a card. Not sure I like this one as much as I like the Lily card I made for STB, but it will have to do. If you didn’t see that post, just scroll a few posts back and you will find it.

I am also linking up with the gals over at Happy Little Stampers and their Anything Goes with Stencils challenge.

Card Details: Background shape was made with a stencil I made with a Spellbinders Die. Then I used Honey Bee Stamps heart stencil and Oxide Inks to make my background. The Butterfly die is from Saavy that I backed with Polka dotted paper. It was a very quick card to put together.

Celebrate Your Day

Hello, It’s time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Maria has a pretty trio for us. Before I get much further, I promise that the side piece of my card is more on the lavender side of things than blue as it appears in the picture. Plus the sentiment and the center of my lilies are dark shade of purple as well.

My philosophy when it comes to color challenges is, as long as your in the same color family and didn’t throw in a bunch of random colors that aren’t in the challenge or graphic you should be good to go. I believe the team would agree!

Once again I am playing along with the Happy Little Stampers Challenge– Anything Goes with Dies and The Global Design Project as their theme is Birthdays.

Card Details: MFT- Lily dies, the Greeting is from Verve, The scalloped, rectangle, and the rounded edge dies are all MFT, the tag die is Spellbinders. The DSP…who knows. I have a few Dew drops on there too.

Come play along with us at JUGS! We would love to have you!

Take care, Nanc’

Flip Flops

Hello, These cards will look familiar but I promise they are new, and I have not shared them before! This design is just one I have made before and just really enjoy. The stars above are a new idea.

A stamp friend of mine is hosting a Beach theme challenge over at Make the Cards Challenge and I wanted to support her and play along. Plus, I needed some more beachy cards for the stores, so it’s a win win. If you have not heard of this challenge, you should go check it out! There are tons of fabulous cards over there by Donna and the Design Team.

Here are two more!

Card Details: Stamps and Dies are all from Honey Bee Stamps, The backgrounds are done with Oxide Inks. The coloring is a bit of Prismas and Copics. I have put Crystal Effect on the straps of the flip flops to make them shine. I either used gems, dew drops, or sequins to finish them off. Oh, and lots of dimensionals too.

Thanks for popping in! I hope you have a wonderful Friday and or weekend, Nanc’
