Hello, I hope you are doing well. It is time for Sketch Week at The Paper Players and Ann has come up with a really fun one this time around. I had this idea rolling around in my head for a few days and although I like it enough it didn’t turn out quite like I had planned. That happens some times. Also, I ended up doing the flowers first and the brick stencil work last and if you look really closely the blue must not have been dry enough as it smeared when I was doing the wall. I love blue and brown together…do you?
Over at Addicted to Stamps and More they have a challenge to use Stencils and or Die-cuts on your project. I have used both.
Card Details: Stamps are from SU- called Painted Harvest, the small brick stencil is from MFT , the greeting is from Papertrey Ink.

I like everything about this card…I didn’t see any smudges or smears, I only saw gorgeous BLUE flowers from one of my favorite stamp sets! LOVE it!

I think blue and brown look fabulous together, Nancy, as evidenced by your card. Love the brick behind the flowers and didn’t notice any smears but maybe it just looks like a shadow.

Nancy, this is gorgeous! I love the stenciled brick background and all those beautiful sunflowers. This is a favorite set of mine. The brown and blue are a fantastic combo, too! Have a great week, My Friend!

WOW!! I love the color combo and all of the beautiful detail in the background from the embossed detail to the playful patterns. Such a pretty card!
