Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Mushroom Mansion

Please scroll down as this is my second card today!

Hello, This month is running out of days and I still have a few things to share. Today I am working with the Mushroom Mansion Die set from the Out and About Collection. I had a ball making this little scene come to life. I know the colors represent Fall, but once I started the card took me in this direction.

I picked a color of card stock for the roof in hopes it looked like moss.

That little snail certainly makes me smile!

I wanted the house to look weathered so I came back with some Prisma Colored pencils after aging it with some Walnut Oxide ink. After all, it is in the woods and can’t look completely pristine.

I also took a colored pencil inside the windows to represent lights, shaded the front door with some Oxide Ink, and gave it a gold door knob. The background paper is DSP which has a woodgrain look to it.

The little mushrooms are darling, aren’t they? The grass is not part of the collection but I thought the house needed something to ground it. The sentiment is a Better Press plate. You can get all the details on the products I used below.

I am linking up over at NBUS as it’s the first time using this darling set.

If you place an order after clicking on one of the links below, I will receive a small commission, and also get to continue as an affiliate with Spellbinders at no cost to you. I certainly would appreciate any of your support! Thank you!
