Springtime Flowers

Happy Easter Sunday to you and yours! Over at The Paper Players we have the perfect theme challenge starting today. Jaydee has chosen Springtime Flowers for our inspiration. When you check out the pretty graphic below, you can’t help but get inspired. Hubby and I have planted more flowers this Spring than in years past and it’s been so much fun and therapeutic. I just hope the 90 degree heat doesn’t come on too strong this year and or soon, so we can continue to enjoy them a little longer. Fingers are tripled crossed.

Card Details: I have quite a mix of supplies for this card so if you don’t mind, if you want to know about any piece of it please send me a message. I will say, a lot of it is from SU and the DSP in my opinion is the star of the show!

Before I go, I am also linking my card up over at Inkspirational where the have a new prompt, GROW.

  1. Oh My Word! I can see how you were inspired by the DSP on this card. But you took it over the top with the dies and the sentiment. So delicate and alluring.

  2. Wow! This is stunning Nancy! Beautiful use of that paper.

  3. Wow, Nanc’! This gorgeous DSP certainly is the star of the show, along with the awesome die cuts! This is what I call a “frameable” card. Hopefully the lucky recipient will give this card a place of honor. Have a wonderful week!

  4. Lovely card design and colors.

  7. Just beautiful Nanc’! I love the way you used that beautiful paper as the starting point for your pretty card – I love the decorated frame detail. I hope your garden looks just as pretty!

  8. So pretty! Love the gorgeous blooms. Hope you had a fun easter!

  9. I couldn’t wait to comment on this card! I just love those papers and your pretty daisy works perfectly! The “greenery” behind it complements those beautiful flowers in the DSP too! Love it all!

  10. Stunning floral array Nancy! Thank you for sharing your work with us at INk~

  11. This is just exceptional in design and I love it!! The floral papers are amazing and so is all the framework as well as the die-cut elements you added. Very fortunate is the person who receives this beautiful card!

  12. Yes, yes and yes. The DSP is the star of the show, but you orchestrated the show. I love everything about this card, Nancy. Your choice of the white accents gives your design that fresh, clean, spring look. This is the prettiest spring card there is.

  13. Sp pretty! The open frame is so smart so as not to cover up that DSP! The scallop border is really sweet as well! Hope your flowers are holding up so you can enjoy them longer! Have a great weekend!

  14. Nancy, good for you getting your flowers out. I still need to do that. I just LOVE your card!!!! T hat DSP is spectacular! I love the fabulous white scalloped frame! The daisies steal the show! You rocked this challenge! Have a fabulous weekend!
