Merry

Hello, Hubby and I took a quick little getaway to the East Coast of Florida and we just got back yesterday. We had a really nice time hanging out on Hutchinson Island for a few days. The weather turned cruddy on Friday so we headed home Friday morning instead of that evening. Don’t tell hubby, but I may have orchestrated the location of our hotel, unbeknownst to him, so I could meet up with the lovely lady below. SHHHHHH! I had the best time chatting with fellow Design Team member and friend from Seize the Birthday, Julie Peddicord. We talked for two hours and I know we both could have sat there for a heck of a lot longer. Crafting meet-ups are the absolute BEST! Thanks, Jules for making my trip so much more special. I feel as If I gained a friend for life. Until next time!

Now, onto the main reason you are probably here! I am Hostess this week at Just Us Girls and it’s Word Week and I have chosen the word MERRY, which I think will be perfect for this time of year! I can’t get enough of this Bear above…. that I don’t own by the way! It belongs to my local BFF, Carol. He is just the cutest and works on any type of card! Today he is playing Rudolph and has a gift for his girl Vixen.

I would also like to welcome Rachel Davis as our guest over at JUGS, she will be with us the next month! Welcome, Rachel! We are happy to have you!

I am also linking up with one of my favorite challenges, over at Happy Little Stampers- Christmas Challenge– with an option to Make a Scene.

A Few Card Details: This card was thrown together rather quickly, so excuse the quick coloring of Mr. Bear. Merry is from SU, the bear is Ellen Hutson, the postal dies are Hero Arts. The present is from Tim Holtz. I used Oxide inks…of course! The antlers are a stamp also from my friend. If I remember correctly, itโ€™s a stamp set with accessories that just so happened to go with the bear.

I hope you will join us at JUGS and show us your Merry!

Take care, Nanc’
