Many of Something

Hello, It’s time for the next Topping at Seize the Birthday. Ashwini has picked something a bit fun and a very easy one for us. All you have to do is put many of something on your Birthday Card and or project. I made a different card for this challenge and then got these great new stencils in the mail and decided I had to use them for this challenge.

Also, over at STB, we have a brand new Design Team Member joining us and I couldn’t be happier about it. Welcome, Linda Snodgrass! I am tickled you are joining us! I feel very fortunate to have met Linda in real life many years ago (Thanks to Colleen from STB) and most recently we got to see each other again this past July when she was here in Florida vacationing with her family. This is actually are 3rd time hooking up with one another. One of the many things I love most about this wonderful hobby are the friendships I have made along the way.

Now back to my card! Here is a close-up so you can see the sparkle on the bows.

I had one or two goofs and didn’t see it till it was too late. It’s on the bottom row of the card. Not sure how it happened. I guess I pushed too hard with the squeegee as I was spreading out the Nuvo Glimmer Paste and my bows smeared. I managed to cover up one with the sentiment.

Card Details: Pretty Pink Posh- Layered Presents Stencils, Nuvo shimmer paste, Oxide inks, sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

I am linking up with two other challenges. Darnell over at NBUS and Happy Little Stampers-Stencil Challenge

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you will swing by Seize the Birthday and check out the wonderful cards by the DT and Guest and stop by Linda’s blog and leave her some love.

Take care, Nanc’

  3. I love your pretty many-gifted birthday card, Nanc’! The glittery bows are a delight and the colors are cheery and festive ~ as they should be for a birthday card! And I see no boo-boos! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

  4. This rather new wave of using stencils is exciting when you can make impressive cards like this one. It looks like you spend a lot of time on it. Good for you!

  5. Super fun background with all the presents!

  6. Fantastic card with all of the pretty pink gifts. Anna would love this card with all of the pink. Thanks for inviting me to join the team.

  7. Beautiful birthday card! I don’t see any of the goofs. Your card is perfect as is. Thanks for sharing and inspiring everyone over at NBUS. I hope to see more of your projects. Bonnie GDT

  8. Awesome card, Nancy! I love all those presents and subtle shimmer of the Nuvo paste. I think one of the convenient things in card-making is how we can cover the goof ups using sentiments/embellishments and still end up with a fab card! 😀

  9. Love these pretty colours Nancy, what great stencils! Perfect with the sparkly bows, Cathy x

  10. What a fabulous background those stencils make, Nancy! Love the added sparkle too, and I can’t see any goofs. Great girly card.
