Hello, It’s time for the next Topping at Seize the Birthday. This time Shirley is our wonderful Hostess and she has asked us to incorporate Alcohol into our cards. I chose to use the crafty side of things instead of the one you consume. š However, you certainly could use both.

It has been so long since I used this great coneflower from Honey Bee Stamps and as expected it worked out perfectly as I had planned. Even if your alcohol inked panel isn’t as pretty as you had hoped it would be, by the time you cut it up and layer the flower back together it hides the imperfections. Love that!
The sentiment is a premade one from Pretty Pink Posh that works great when you don’t have a bunch of time. Of course, I had to use my go-to gold paper dots for my bling. The background frame was made with a cover plate called Sparkling Diamonds from Pink Fresh Studios.
I certainly hope you will head over to Seize the Birthday and check out my fabulous teammates’ cards along with our guest Hilary! Everyone did a wonderful job!
Take care and happy crafting, Nanc’

Your cone flower looks amazing. What a good idea. I must say that it never occurred to me to use alcohol inks! xx

Oh, I am inspired by your astute card. I think that I will try to die-cut some of those outtakes with this die. I like that you tried the crafty way for this challenge.

Sweet! I love the variegation of colors on the flower. And it really stands out. Gold is a nice choice here – not too distracting – I am so used to going for black all the time! Thanks for the inspiration!

This is so beautiful! I love the colours you chose – so rich and gorgeous. Great idea to do the leaves white. I always love it when you use the cone flower dies – I need to get some for myself.
