Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Sending Coffee

Hello, Happy Friday! I am back today with the second week of my guesting gig at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog and boy did I have a fabulous time putting this card together. For my card, I am using one of Coffee Loving Card Makers’ Super Sponsors-Pretty Pink Posh. I have paired their fun Layered Coffee Cup Stencil with a few older products of mine. You will find all the card details below.

I don’t know how you feel about layering stencils, but I really do enjoy using them. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the pattern/design on the paper come to life using one stencil at a time. After each reveal you just want to OOH and AWW over it, don’t you? At least I do! LOL

Below you can see the color Oxides I used for my background.

The stenciling isn’t perfect, but that is okay. Trying to achieve a white coffee cup with grey ink isn’t all that easy. I have the card that inspired me from Pretty Pink Posh’s website linked for you Here! DT member, Gemma did a sensational job with this task.

I thought the heart needed one more coffee cup so I stenciled one individual cup and fussy cut it out, which was quite simple.

The coffee word die that I have used is from an old stamp company that is no longer up and running called Verve which was very dear to me. They are one of the reasons I am a cardmaker today. Julee Tilman was the owner and she is so talented and as sweet as can be. Isn’t that font just terrific?

Card Details: Layered Coffee Stencil-Pretty Pink Posh and Oxide Inks, the heart is from MFT, the coffee die is from Verve, and the cute little label is from Pink and Main. I used a few dimensionals for some height under my coffee cup.

I certainly hope you have a wonderful day and I will see you next time! Happy Crafting! Nanc’
