Hello, It’s already the middle of the month and time for the next Hues of Colors at Color Hues. I seriously don’t know why life has to go so fast! Anybody with me? Today over at CH, Stef is our fabulous hostess and she has chosen a pretty color pairing. The Colors remind me of Spring and I know most of the country is ready for that. I certainly am but I need to be careful because mother nature might think I mean Summer. 🀣

Card Details:

  • Friend-Honey Bee Stamps
  • Border-Marth Stewart Punch and then I glued hearts in each opening.
  • Pierced Flowers-Stampin Up
  • Tiny hearts are from a Verve Border that I glued in the flower centers and on top of the smaller hearts.

It should have been a quick card but I fretted over it much longer than I should have. 😝

I am playing along over at The Flower Challenge as the challenge is to add a Heart. I think I have that covered.

I am also joining in over at Inspirational where the prompt is Hearts!

I hope you will come by the Color Hues Blog and check out the amazing cards by my Design Team and our Guest Bonnie and then join us!

Take care and I will be back very soon! Nanc’

Will you please send me the item number/description of the pierced flowers? I can’t find them.
    I appreciate your help.

    • Hi Louise! They are not available any more! They are from Stampin Up. The set is fantastic! The item number is 154312 . They are actually called Pierced Blooms and Dies. Thanks for your sweet comment.

      • Oh Sweetheart…

  3. Well you made these colors sing πŸ™‚

  4. I like your idea of adding little hearts to the flower centers, it’s so cute! Sweet card, Nancy… just like you!

  5. This card came from die cut heaven! All those wonderful dies beautifully assembled to make one really lovely card!

  6. That is a pretty colour combination Nancy and I love the way the heart border ties in with those gorgeous pierced flowers. Thank you for coming to play with us at The Flower Challenge! Vicky x

  7. All that die cutting was certainly worth it Nancy, a lovely fresh looking card. The daffodils and crocus are showing their colours in the garden but I haven’t been able to get on the beds as the ground is saturated with more rain pelting down as I type! πŸ™‚

  8. Nancy this is so beautiful! Right from those lovely pierced flowers to the friend with the shadow behind it. You made the colours shine! So lovely!

  9. Love the details of these pretty flowers and how you’ve cut hearts to match, Nanc’! Thanks so much for the warm welcome!

  10. Swooning over your gorgeous card, Nancy – and all the more so because it’s die-cuts only! Isn’t it wonderful when different companies’ products play so nicely together! LOVE this! Thrilled you shared this sweet work of art over at Inkspirational; thank you!

  12. That’s fab! Loving these colours!

  13. Nancy, you already know I absolutely adore this card and seeing it on your blog, even more so! All the little details and your eye for design made these colors sing for sure! And thanks for linking up to The Flower Challenge too, cute hearts and flowers are perfection!

  14. A beautiful card using the colors Nancy! You layered hearts are so pretty all in a row! Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational:Hearts! Julia xx

  15. You definitely have the hearts covered in this sweet and yes SPRING like card Nancy! Had to chuckle when I read what you wrote about being careful what you wish for and ending up with Summer…we tend to have Winter till middle or late May and then go right from the 50’s and 60’s to the mid 80’s (or higher!) and humid! If we do get Spring, it’s usually only for a week or two max! Sure hope this year id different! But anyway, your card is delightful and you’ve used the challenge colors so beautifully! Hugs. :0)

  16. Loved this on IG and even better on my laptop! Wonderful design with the color blocked background and how you arranged all the colors of flowers and hearts! One of my favorite cards!

  17. Nancy, this card brought our colors to life so beautifully! It amazes me how you combined card stock and dies into a stunning design that is perfectly balanced and executed. This one makes me smile!! I am inspired to remember to use my big sentiments more.
