Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

I really miss you…

Hello, I have been making cards for the store the past week or so and today it was time to do some mass producing. I have a design that is very popular and fun to do and it turns out I have never shared it here on my blog.

I am linking up with a new to-me challenge called. As You See It. What they want us to do is make a card with a Theme of the Outdoors and make it in under 10 minutes. This card takes me about 6 min. and 10 seconds. I am a bit of a slow ink blender and too much of a perfectionist. LOL

Card Details: Oxide Inks, the cloud stencils are from Miss Ink Stamps, the sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps-Missing You set, and the palm tree is from Whimsy Stamps but sadly not available anymore.

Take some time to be creative as it’s good for the heart and certainly better than watching the news! Nanc’

  1. SO pretty, Nancy! Such lovely colors together, and amazing that it’s all one layer! Such a good time, too – wow! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!

  2. I can see why it’s popular, Nancy! Your ink blended hearts look perfect with that fabulous palm tree silhouette. Pretty card!

  3. I was about to comment about how stunning the torn paper hearts were, when I realized that they were ink blended and not torn at all, which notched them up several more steps in my estimation! Very effective design, Nancy. So glad you found our challenge blog! Thanks for stamping on the edge with As You See It!

  4. The ink blended shapes give the illusion of layers. Pretty combination of colours too, so striking with the silhouette of the tree. You’re a whiz with the blending tool to have done such an amazing job in such a short time – you’re a natural at the speed challenge! Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It.

  5. This is so clever Nanc’ – the stencilling gives the illusion of layers and the palm tree is a great focal point. Such a warm, sunny card too. Thanks for embracing our speed challenge over at As You See It this week!
