It’s Pandamonium

Hello, I could not resist playing with this Dancin’ Birthday Panda from Spellbinders at least one more time. As mentioned before, I have the perfect Panda sentiments from Woodware Crafts and when I saw the phrase It’s pandamonium, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I have linked the sentiment set that goes with this panda below for you.

This card was also designed around the next Hues of colors at Color Hues. The colors we have starting today are Copper and Green and were selected by Karen. I used Copper mirrored paper for the Panda’s glasses and Bows, and I know it looks like gold in the picture, but trust me it’s not. I tied in the hue of copper again with the background paper and small heart accents.

All the products I used are listed below.

This is a mini slimline card and measures 3 1/4 X 6 1/4. In hindsight, I think it looks a bit crowded and I wish I would have gone with a full-size slimline instead.

Hubby said I should have made the middle Panda do something silly too. There is always a critic in the bunch. LOL (Now don’t tell him I think he was right.)

I used my scrap paper in all shades of green to cut out my leaves. It feels good to put those scraps to use. Then I splattered them with white paint.

If you place an order after clicking on one of the links below, I will receive a small commission, and also get to continue as an affiliate with Spellbinders at no cost to you. I certainly appreciate your support! Thank you so much!

  1. Ohmystars, Nancy! Your copper spectacled-and-bow-tied pandas take adorable to a whole new level! Pair them with the fabulous leafy background and a trio of hearts and you have the makings of one of the cutest cards I’ve ever seen! You’ve created smile-making magic with this colour combination! LOVE this!!

  2. The minute I saw this, I was totally delighted! How much fun are those pandas? The copper eye glasses and bows are just perfect, but it’s the way you positioned the pandas with that great sentiment that seals the deal on this card! (I think most of us had problems photographing the copper, but it’s true for every metallic at my house.)

  3. What a fun card with all those cute pandas. They sure look like they are having fun. The copper eyeglasses and bows are perfect touches.

  4. There has to be one sane person in the group, Nancy. 😉 Those pandas are so cute and head over heels for each other. Love their glasses.

  5. Such a fun card Nancy, love those bears and they look set for pandemonium too!

  6. Tell hubby that panda IS doing something silly, he doesn’t even wear glasses and that those have no lenses hee hee!! This is over the top cute, Nancy, love it to bits!

  7. Nancy, the dancing pandas are so so cute!! So much colour and the bold green leaves are so amazing. So cute and so fun, I want to make a card just like t his. I’ll have to come to your house to play and get into the pandamonium!!

  8. Tell the “critic” that there has to be one responsible member in every group. LOL!!! I am in love with EVERYTHING on this absolutely adorable card!

  9. Such a fun way to use these colors, Nanc’! They make me smile!

  10. This card just tickles me to no end, Nancy! It’s so much silly fun with those cute pandas, and that punny sentiment couldn’t be more perfect! I’ll bet it was a blast to make. I want to join Tracey and come play with you and the pandas some day lol!

  11. Such an adorable card, Nancy! I just love the copper glasses and bows! The white splatters are a wonderful element!

  12. Those in-house critics can drive us nuts sometimes, can’t they?!! Your card doesn’t look crowded to me and I think you need one panda looking a little more serious to really make you notice the other two are being goofy! Cute, CUTE card Nancy and that sentiment just couldn’t be any more perfect…LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
