Kraft and One Other Color

Hello, I hope you are having a good week. It’s the 4th Thursday of the month and time for the next Topping at Seize the Birthday. Colleen is our hostess and she has a color challenge for us. All you have to do is use Kraft and one other color of your choosing. I decided to use something a bit different and I chose the SU color Island Indigo. Now, if you were to Google Indigo, it is nowhere near the color of the ink pad I used on my card. Whatever you decide to call it, I think it’s pretty and paired nicely with Kraft and White. Remember, neutrals are welcome. The hardest part was getting a decent photo. It is far more prettier in real life.

I first foiled my background in gold. Before I let the stencils do the rest of the work. I am still so in love with this set from Spellbinders called Cosmos Backdrop and Stencil Bundle. I am just in awe of how pretty it is even without color. The decorative edge on the bottom was made with my Fiskars cutter. The sentiment is from the set-Thanks Enclosed Sentiments.

If you place an order after clicking on one of the links below, I will receive a small commission, and also get to continue as an affiliate with Spellbinders at no cost to you. I certainly would appreciate any of your support!Thank you!

  1. Your card is gorgeous, Nanc’! LOVE the beautiful foiling of the cosmos images. The island indigo pairs beautifully with kraft and the white accents enhance it. It has been a pleasure joining your team for two months and thank you for all for everything. xx

  2. I love the Island Indigo color with the kraft. I miss having the paper in that color

  3. It seems that kraft and turquoise are very popular for the team. They are all so different and unique. I love the fresh and airy look of your card and that sweet touch of gold. Amazing.

  4. The last comment was me, not sure why this is happening suddenly. Your blog is not the only one.

  5. I love using kraft for cards and this is a beautiful color combo! I’ll never tire of you using this set, Nancy, it’s gorgeous. I see through your link that it’s a Betterpress and Stencil combo. Can you foil Betterpress dies? If so, I might be forced to shop!

  6. Pretty card Nancy. Love the blue flowers on kraft.

  7. Nancy, this is a beautiful and elegant card, I love the gold outline with foiling, it adds so much elegance to the card. this is really striking!

  9. Nancy, I think it is actually very pretty with the gold embossing and the indigo. Beautiful card.

  10. Navy blue or not, I love that color too. It does pair beautifully with the kraft color. And the bits of golden make it so much prettier. Really awesome creation, Nancy! 🙂

  11. Such a pretty card Nancy, gorgeous colour, indigo or close too, and love the added gold, Cathy x
