Hello fellow crafters, Today over at Seize the Birthday we have a fun topping for you to try this week… I call it the Great Divide. Meaning, take your card and or focal point of your card and divide it into third, halves, fourths or etc… I think it’s a unique topping and I am really looking forward to seeing the gallery over the next two weeks to see what are fabulous participants do with it. Some of my DT members hit it out of the park! If you’re not a toppings kind of person remember it’s always an Anything Goes Birthday celebration. For my card I decided it was time to practice my coloring skills, so I got out my Prisma colored pencils and one of my largest floral stamps and went to work. The Birthday sentiment is from Verve and not sure if you can tell in the photo, but I popped up one of the flowers to off set some of the dimension of that large button in the opposite corner. My colors were inspired by Sunday Stamps where they have pink, brown and white together, it’s one of my all time favorite combos! I also have a photo of the stamp I used in case you were wondering why I picked such a strange color for my leaves. The stamp is so pretty I thought I would give it a try. I sure hope you have a fantastic weekend ahead and if you find sometime to be creative you’ll consider joining us over at Seize the Birthday, we would love to have you! Nanc’

Absolutely great job on the coloring and i love the colors that you chose. Beautiful flowers, don’t know how you had the heart to cut them up, but it really works here. Love the tabs of repeated colors on the top.

I have never seen an all over floral stamp like that, Nancy, but it makes a gorgeous card. Cut in fourths like you did it looks like ceramic tiles.
