Hello Friends, Maria over at Just Us Girls has a very easy word for us this week. The word is Stencils. I don’t know about you, but I have a slew of them and am always looking to buy more. This sun beam stencil I have used on my card today is a must have if you ask me! Mine happens to be from My Favorite Things however, there are many different variations of them out there. You should try and get one too. I decided to ink mine up on watercolor paper. The rest of my card was made with SU’s new set Lift Me Up. I just adore this hot air balloon die. What is so cool about this stamp and die cut set is that it has so many pieces. Just take a look at it below! I love the fact that the background of the ballon can be made with so many different shades of paper and cut out individually. I did just that on my card above. What a cute idea and I love how you designed this card. That stencil in the background really added the sunshine, and I love the clouds. Then the die cut balloon is so appropriate for this sentiment. It lifted my spirits just looking at it.

I love that you used that stencil with that die. I’m getting that SU set, it’s so stinkin’ cool. I think I need that stencil too. This is such a cute and simple card, it just makes me smile. Oh, and I love the bright colors too.

I LOVE that sunbeam background! It goes so perfectly with that awesome hot air balloon. And I love how you stamped the sentiment on a cloud. I like how the watercolor paper gives this so much texture.

Awesome card, Nancy! You’ve sold me on that stencil and probably on the balloon set too. I’ve eyed it for months now. Love your design and the colors, just so cheerful and happy!
