Hello, I am back today with a card for the next Topping over at Seize the Birthday. Vicki has selected stripes for us this time around. Such an easy topping with loads of possibilities. I decided to do a form of the spotlighting technique for my card, by just coloring one of my daisies. I added a quick and easy strip of DSP to incorporate the topping. We also have a brand new Surprise Party Guest joining us for the next two months at STB, and that is Jenny from My Paper Epiphany. Welcome, Jenny!

Card Details: Background stamp is from Simon Says Stamps and is called Gerbera Daisy Background and my sentiment is from Neat and Tangled-Everyday Labels. A bit of Copics and Prisma colored pencils were my medium of choice.
We would love to have you join us at Seize the Birthday and remember, our topping is always optional as you can always just make a birthday card and or project and play along.
Take care, Nanc’

Very pretty with the spotlighted daisy. The black/white stripe paper is perfect with the image.

Yes, this team came out with many different stripes for their cards for this challenge. I adore your take on this one too. Spotlighting is a great way to make a fabulous card that is quick and easy.

Great spotlighting technique Nancy, I’ve not tried this, looks so effective. The daisy is beautifully coloured too and the dp stripes make it all pop! Gorgeous card, Cathy x

Coloring one daisy really does spotlight it, Nancy, and the label sentiment works well with the stripes and uncolored flowers.

Fab card, Nancy! I love how you just covered half of the background with stripes, and spotlit just one flower.

It’s so chic, Nancy! Your spotlighted yellow daisy is pretty and pops off the black and white outline flowers and black stripy background! Fabulously well balanced layout!

Spectacular!! That single bright daisy really looks awesome, and I love how its matched by a thin frame also. That really brings it together! I should learn from how you use those little things in your cards, Nancy; very inspiring!
