Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Warm Christmas Wishes

Hello there, I fell in love with the Photo Inspiration at Inspired by Challenge and I knew I had the perfect stamp set, still out on my desk, to use in my design. I have been in Christmas card mode over the past couple of weeks and I am four short of where I want to be for this time of year, so not too bad. I decided to try my CAS style of background that seems to be somewhat of a signature for me lately for this card. I decided to ink it right on the card base, and of course when I removed the masking and stencil I realized it was completely crooked. So how do you fix that? You disguise it with a wonky frame, of course! 😛

Here are two more cards and yes another one I inked crooked. LOL

I have to join in the fun over at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge and Stencil Challenge as well.

A few card details: Sunny Studios Surfing Santa, I made one of my water stencils with an MFT water die for the first and last card. The other stencil is from Whimsy Stamps. I used both Copics, Prismas and Oxide ink. I have glitter on Santa’s hat and pom pom. The Deckled Edged rectangle die from Spellbinders made my stencil for two of the three cards.

Thanks for popping in to see what I have been up to! Hope you are doing your best to stay positive in this crazy new world we find ourselves living in. I am so truly thankful for this hobby and all of you that I have met either in person or virtually along the way! You have brought me so much joy!

Hugs, Nanc’

  1. Two perfect cards for all of the challenges! I’d love to see Santa arrive on shore on a surfboard! Thanks playing with the HLS Christmas group — Julie

  2. It is indeed the perfect stamp for the challenge! Both cards are great–the water and waves are the perfect spot for Santa on his surfboard! It’s not surprise that living in the northeast, I don’t have a single Santa at the beach stamp.

  3. Oh how perfect is that Santa stamp, and what awesome designs. I love both your cards, they are incredibly fun! Thank you for inspiring us @ IB this week!

  4. Fabulous makes hun, love the wonky frame!

Thank you for sharing with us at ‘Happy Little Stampers Christmas’ this month
    Take care
    hugs Shell xx
