Masculine Birthdays

Hello, Today’s cards are for the next topping at Seize the Birthday. Barbara is our fabulous hostess and she has asked us to use embossing on our cards. I have used a Chevron Embossing Folder for both of my cards but that is not the only embossing you can use. It appears that the majority of the DT and our guest Kathy went the easy route and used an EF too.

Here is a close-up so you can see the embossing a bit better! The white Golfball is embossed as well.

Both of these cards were inspired by cards over on Pinterest and not my original design. I really enjoyed putting them together.

Card Details: The majority of the dies and stamps on both cards are from Stampin Up and the sets are called Golf Set and Clubhouse. The Chevron EF is also from Stampin Up.

I hope you will head on over to Seize the Birthday and join us! Nanc’

  4. Two great masculine cards Nancy. I too like the one with the golfer swinging.

  5. This is the best card for you to give as you have a lot of family that are golfers. Acutally, any golfer would be pleased with this card. I love the blue and green one with the swinging golfer. So masculine and appealing for a birthday card.

  6. Great masculine cards! Perfect for all the golfers you know~

  7. Perfect cards for golf lovers! So many golf elements in this set! Love the added texture from the embossing and the starry dp, Cathy x

  8. Are you two golfers? These are great, especially the one with the textured golf ball. Love!

  9. These are great!! I suck at masculine cards, so these make for great inspiration for me as well. Love the texture from the embossing folders – subtle but enough to make their presence known.

  10. These are fantastic! Masculine cards are always a challenge and you rocked these. Great colours and textures.
