Hello, It is already February and time for the next Hues of Color at Color Hues! Karen is our fabulous hostess and she has a perfect color duo for this time of year. If you are not into making Valentines there are many other avenues you can take with these colors, as you will see by the DT’s cards over on the CH blog. We also have Michal joining us as a guest over at CH for this challenge! Welcome, Michal. We are happy to have you!
I made two cards for this challenge and didn’t realize the black looked so bad on the second card until after I photographed it. 😦
First Card: I made my heart windows with an MFT heart die. The love die is from Gina K and the XOXO stamp and the You Melt My Heart stamp are from MFT. A very quick and simple Valentine.
Second Card: Honey Bee Stamps fluttering hearts stencil. The stamp set is also Honey Bee Stamps and is called; Stronger Together. I used my fabulous Hero Arts Postage dies and did some masking as well. Of course, my Oxide Inks was my ink of choice.

Hey, it’s a twofer—and two wonderful cards! Ever since I first saw you use that fabulous Love die from Gina K, it’s been on my wish list! I love the way you’ve designed that card–so many little details that add up to WOW–the tiny silver hearts, the little xoxo . . . and I love the way you cut the hand from the black heart in the second card.

I love the love die too, its difficult to get American supplies over here as as soon as they come into stock they go out the door. Sadly ordering from the US is not an option. My hubby ordered an item and it cost over £40 in taxes and postage for a £35 item! Two great Valentine designs. 🙂
