Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Happy B Day

Hello friends, I am thrilled to be back with another card combining two sets from Pixi Dust Designs. The two sets I have used on this Birthday card are; Bee Happy and Dream Big. I am really enjoying my time guesting with Pixi Dust and their wonderful products. I have fallen head over heels for the bees so I had to add one to this card.

It is also the 4th Thursday of the month and time for the next Topping at Seize the Birthday. Linda is our wonderful hostess and she has picked a perfect Spring Topping for us. All you have to do is add Spring florals to your Birthday card. Easy, Huh?

I don’t think this card needs much explanation and I have everything linked below. However, I wanted to incorporate the word Bee in my sentiment so I went looking for the words Happy and Day and found them on an old set from Lawn Fawn called-Happy Happy Happy. I used some Nuvo drops and glitter on the center of my flowers and vellum for the bees’ wings.

I certainly appreciate you coming by and I hope you will pop on over to Seize the Birthday and check out the fabulous floral cards by my talented Desing Team and our two guests. We have two Deborahs playing along. This is our last challenge with Deborah Wheeler and I want to take a quick minute and thank her for being so awesome to work with. I also want to welcome Deb Dukes, she was the winner of our last challenge using the topping. Welcome, Deb.

  2. A very appealing card with the flowers and the bee! I am loving the vellum wings. I aslo appreciate that you got two for one. Lol

  3. Nancy, the colors themselves scream “SPRING” and of course daisies are always a good choice for flowers. Love your ‘bee’ too, yes I was out in the garden today and certainly had bees buzzing around me, so spring it is!

  4. Nancy, your card is so cheerful with the look of Spring. So sweet and adorable.

  5. You’ve made some fabulous cards with their sets. I definitely need to check them out. That layered bee is just soooooo cute. (I may need to borrow him….)

  6. I looks like a snap taken of a garden from above using a drone! I love the bold and fun florals, the polka dots and the cute bee; and, of course, your ‘bee’ sentiment! Its such a fun card, Nancy!
