Hello Friends, How is the weather where you are? We are having quite a blast of cold air here in the Sunshine State with a low of 33 this morning and let’s just say I am not a huge fan. I live in Florida for a reason! LOL Anyways, we shall be back in the 70’s by the end of the weekend so all is good and I get to wear my boots too, so I ought to stop complaining! Today over at Seize the Birthday our topping we have starting is to make a One Layer Card. I don’t do many of these types of cards and I wouldn’t say I am very good at them, but as they say, you just have to keep on trying. Today’s card was made with the Altenew stamp set called Botanical Garden. I water colored it and added some splatters when I was done. I used the most intricate brush I had for the stems of the flowers. That was my best part…LOL.
I am also going to be linking up over at CAS Watercolour where the challenge is Birthday. Hope to see you over in the Seize the Birthday Gallery and have a fabulous day! Nanc’

Ooh pretty card, Nancy! But then I am a sucker for florals, especially Altenew. I love the delicate branches and bit of splatter. Sorry you are feeling so chilly but hey, you gotta have a reason to break out those sweaters once in a while! Please put my order in for warmer weather the first week in February, lol!

This is so pretty, Nancy! Gorgeous watercolouring. While you were shivering in Florida, we were wearing hoodies on our Bahamas getaway from the snow of home. Just can’t win sometimes!
