No Line Watercoloring

Hi, No Line Water-coloring or should I say…ATTEMPTING No Line Watercoloring over at Just Us Girls today. If I had more time I would have been happy to try again but since I didn’t, I decided to do my best to hide my terrible flower with a bow! LOL. I guess I shouldn’t have picked a sheer one. LOLOLOL My dear friend Barb sent me this Gina K Designs image with a sticky note that said try no-line water-coloring with this.  I am sure she will not be impressed as she is fabulous at it. LOL  Oh well, I will try again sometime soon.

The MFT hello die was dipped in gold glitter to add some interest or distraction.LOL  And the tag die is also MFT.

Hope to see you in our gallery at JUGS! A huge thanks to Sue our DT member that pushed us to try something new and or challenging! Come play along.

  1. Thanks for all of the uplifting words my friend! Your water coloring of this image is not that bad. It takes the right paper and the right amount of water, and lots of practice. I would start with a little color and keep going back for more and more. All of the lessons that I have taken say Practice, Practice, Practice. You are on the right track, don’t give up. I see great cards in your future. I love that you stepped out of your comfort zone with something new.

  2. So very gorgeous and wonderful colors.

  3. The colors are fabulous! It’s a great image, and I imagine it takes a long time to watercolor. It’s much better than you think!

  4. I personally LOVE how your flower turned out! It’s so soft and dreamy. I know this challenge was a stretch making all of us step out of our boxes.

  5. You sell yourself short, Nancy. That is a beautiful rose. I love your design layout with the tilted paper and panel.

  6. Ever so lovely Nancy. Gorgeous bright colours and love the layout. Not an easy challenge but we did it eh!

  7. Really pretty, you did it and I LOVE the added bow too!!!

  8. This is so pretty! Well done 🙂

  9. You are too hard on yourself. This is so pretty! I stray from this technique because I stink at it! LOL! Love the colors and that bow is lovely.
