Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Food, Glorious Food

Hello, Today it’s time for our next challenge over at Seize the Birthday. The topping is Food, Glorious Food which happened to be selected by former DT member, Lindsey. As I am typing my post I am thinking about my beautiful friend and how remarkable she was. She was always a glass-half full type of gal and showed humor even up till the end. I could always count on her to make me smile and or burst into laughter from a text message. She would want me to be happy so that is what I am going to do today, for her.

I dare you to read this topping without singing…I certainly can’t!

I made two cards for this challenge.

Card Details: MFT-Birthday Cake die, the sentiments are from Papertrey ink. I used some clear Nuvo drops to make my icing shine. I also took my paper piercer and etched lines in the mirrored paper on the cake stand, and I love the way it looks.

You have to come over to Seize the Birthday and check out my fabulous team’s cards along with Asa our guest. Everyone did such a great job and they are all so different.

I hope however you choose to spend your day, you choose to be happy too. Nanc’

  8. This immediately brings the Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles era to mind. (Mind you, I’ve never watched either one so that’s random. LOL!) I love the colors and Lindsey would too.
