Candles

Hello, Today’s card is for the new topping over at Seize the Birthday. The topping this time around is Candles, chosen by Shirley.  I had so much fun breaking out my laminator and my Gina K. Foil-Mates to make this card. You may not be able to tell in the photo but the background is foiled in Turquoise Sea and the candles are in Passionate Pink. The sentiment is from Verve and one of my favorite sets. The heart border is a Martha Stewart Punch.  The candles are from Elizabeth Craft Designs, one of my all time favorite purchases. I also have a lot of dimensionals used on this card as well.

Please come by and join us! Nanc’

  1. Beautiful card and I love the foiling.

  2. I could immediately tell that your background was foiled!! This looks FABULOUS! LOVE!

  3. Foiling makes this simple card extra special, Nancy.

  4. Great colours, great design! Those candles are fab.

  5. I can imagine how shiny the candles and the background would be in real life! The heart border is a lovely touch! My poor punches are all in a dark cabinet ! I should give them some love too :)!

  6. Oh, its pretty apparent that you’ve used pretty foiling on this card – the patterns are just lovely!! Somehow the design itself, along with the wonderful colors bring so much joy – the foiling just ups it to another level! Awesome card, Nancy!!

  7. Lovely card and I bet it is so pretty in person with the foiling. I can see a touch of the turquoise foiling at the bottom of the background.

  8. Lovely use of foiling!

  9. Bet this looks amazing in real life Nancy! Gorgeous design and the foiling looks really pretty, Cathy x

  10. Great idea to foil the candles. I bet the pink and the turquoise look fabulous in real life 🙂

  11. You already know how much I love these candle dies… but I also love all of the fun patterns and fabulous colours. Such a fun card my friend.
