Happy Birthday @ Color Hues

Hello, I hope this post finds you well and enjoying your day! It is the middle of the month and time for our next hues of color at Color Hues. The colors Cindy has chosen are Lime Green and Aqua. As you can see on my card, Aqua is one of those colors that can either be on the bluer or greener side of the color wheel, it just depends on your interpretation. When I hear Aqua, I think water so I chose the bluer side.

Card Details: MFT- Cover-plate, Stitched flowers-MFT, Wreath-Stampin Up, Leaves-Stampin Up, sentiment-Verve, silver glitter paper and a small punch, and a few rhinestones.

Over at CH, we have Rosemary joining us as our guest and I would like to take a minute and give her a quick welcome. Welcome!! Rosemary was our winner from our last challenge and we are happy to have her along.

Now, once again if you don’t pop on over to Color Hues and check out ALL the cards by the Design Team…you will be missing out! They are all truly fabulous!

Take care and hope to see you in the gallery! Nanc’

  1. Very pretty and great use of the Color Hues colors. Love your card.

  2. These are two of the colors I’m using to decorate our cottage, along with yellow and coral. Love the combo and it looks beautiful on your card, Nancy. Love that background die.

  3. You rocked the colors and your card is so pretty, Nancy! I love those stitched flowers and the bold aqua stripes. The soft gray shows it off beautifully! Your cards always inspire me!

  4. The stitched flowers add some nice texture to your aqua blue waters. I hope that all is well for you this week.

  5. That cover plate is the perfect background for the fun stitched flowers! Love the bright and happy card!

  6. What hadn’t crossed my mind is how good these two colours look when you throw a little grey into the mix! Beautiful card.

  7. I agree about the watery aspect of aqua, Altenew made it easy as they called their ink Aqualicious! The line green leaves pop against the gorgeous background. 🙂

  8. absolutely love your beautiful design and the way you used the colors! thanks for the lovely comment on my card and for having me as a guest designer!

  9. This is just so beautiful. The colours really pop! I have that background die and I never really know how to use it, but it looks great here. You’ve inspired me to dig it out again.
Thank you for the visit to my blog and your lovely comment. It made my day.
