Candles

Hello, It’s the 4th Thursday of the month and time for the next Topping at Seize the Birthday. Colleen is our fabulous hostess and she has asked us to use Candles on our card and or project. I have a very simple card for you today as I was running short on time.

Card Details: The fun candle dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The birthday script die and scalloped die are MFT, and the wishes stamp is from Sunny Studios. I used some clear Nuvo drops on my candle wicks along with some fine glitter for added sparkle.

I certainly hope you will consider coming on over to Seize the Birthday and playing along, the team and our guest Stefanie and have some great inspiration for you too!

Take care, Nanc’

Forget the Cake…

Hello, It is Saturday, and time for the next challenge at Just Us Girls. Sue is our wonderful hostess and she chose the word Basket for us. At first, I was stumped and then I decided to have a look around my Cameo Design shop and it certainly did the trick. I saw this basket and thought…I don’t need a fancy cutter to make this simple basket shape all I need is the right kind of paper, low and behold I had the perfect piece in my stash! This couldn’t be any easier and look I even broke out two brads from my stash of hundreds. LOL

Here is a close-up!

I am playing along with the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes Birthday Challenge as well.

Card Details: The wine bottle (is actually a champagne bottle) and glasses are from Paper Roses. The coaster die that is supposed to be a blanket is from the Greetery, I hope it’s evident. The sentiment is heat embossed and from MFT and the set is called-Spirited Sentiments. The tiny dots of gold are cut from a very small Spellbinders die in the Noel set and normally are used for Holly. I thought the card needed something extra. I also used a wooden script stamp to make the wine bottle label.

You must run on over to JUGS as the team did an INCREDIBLE job this week, we also have a brand new guest starting who happens to be a friend of mine from Color Hues. Welcome, Julie Beech! I am just so happy you are designing with us this month!

Take care, Nanc’

Rocker Card

Hello, I am back today with the next challenge at Just Us Girls. Carol is our wonderful hostess and she has us making Rocker Cards today. I totally enjoyed this challenge as it’s good for me to break out of my comfort zone! Thanks for pushing us/me, Carol.

A Few Card Details: I saw this cute little Ellen Hutson bear on Pinterest with a fun swimsuit on and I totally wanted to try it too. I have it linked up for you HERE! I used a mix of old and new products on this card. The tree is from MFT, the camera, floral, life preserver, and sign are new and from Sizzix and called Beach Day Dies. The scalloped hills are Lawn Fawn. I used some Copics and colored pencils for my coloring. The little fish on his beach trunks are from MFT.

I am linking up once again with the ladies over at Tic Tac Toe Challenge and this time my card goes with the column of; Outdoors, Blue, Water.

I so appreciate you stopping by! I hope you will come over to Just Us Girls and check out my fabulous team’s rocker cards along with our guest Fran! They all did an amazing job!

Take care, Nanc’

Embossing Folders @JUGS

Hello, It is Saturday already and time for the next challenge at Just Us Girls. Vicky has chosen an easy Trend for us to enjoy and hopefully you will too! All you need to do is use an Embossing Folder. I think the hardest part would be to decide which one. LOL If you are anything like me you have at least 20 to choose from.

I am also going to play along over at Happy Little Stampers – Die Cut Challenge, as I often do.

Card Details: Embossing Folder-Stampin Up, the onesie and button dies are from MFT and very old, and the greeting is from Stampin Up. Postage die is Hero Arts. I adore the DSP, that I believe I found at Hobby Lobby.

Now, I hope you will pop on over to Just Us Girls and check out the cards by my fabulous teammates and our guest and join us! Take care, Nanc’

Mini Slimline

Hello, Elizabeth is our fabulous hostess this week at Just Us Girls and she has picked the PERFECT Trend for us. Mini Slimline cards. I am finally starting to get on board with this size and really loving it. It is very common for me to be way behind on the latest trends and I am good with that. Someone has to be the caboose. LOL.

I am linking up over at Tic Tac Toe once again because I like this board so much and this time I chose the row Holiday, Silver, and Patterned Paper.

I love Happy Little Stampers so I am joining in the Christmas Challenge this time.

Card Details: NOEL is from Spellbinders. The snowman is a fav of mine from MFT. The decorative edge was made with my Fiskers Victorian blade paper cutter.

Now, Hop on over to Just Us Girls and check out what the Design Team and our guest Rachel have done! So many fabulous cards!

Take care, Nanc’
